A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Dick,

doesn't sound too good. Try some .38 Special loads, maybe they will work better. The other thing is maybe the sights are loose or there is something wrong with the barrel/forestock.

Sometimes it takes a hundred rounds or so for a rifle to settle in.

    Good luck!

I've never had such bad luck with the 357. I have had bad luck with the H & R. They were even harder to deal with.
Is the barrel absolutely clean? Are you shooting lead bullets? They may be too soft for the rifleing. And I certainly would check to see if something is loose. Lastly, try a heavier bullet.
