Well, The Second Auction Of It...
Has made it to the reserve price, the current bid is $2,500.00. Too rich for my blood.

$2500 plus shipping is a lot of $$ for possibly just a IP receiver.

How many times can you sell a carbine?
This same carbine was listed in 2 seperate auctions, by the same seller. Listed on the same day 12-11-09 about 5 minutes apart. Shipping fee for either auction is $35.00.
First Listing,
To open the bidding on the first listing would have cost $1,995.00 with a buy it now of $4,499.00.
This listing started at 7:37:44 PM and ended about 1 hour later with no bids at 8:39:33 PM on 12-11-09.
Second listing,
Had it's first bid at 8:41:59 PM. That would be 2 minutes and 26 seconds after the first listing was ended.
To open the bidding on this listing would take $2,000.00 with a Buy It Now option of $3,600.00.
Now looking at the Bid History of the current listing......
This listing started on 12-11-09 at 7:42:01 PM.
It's opening bid came on 12-11-09 at 8:41:59 PM or 1 hour after being listed and 2 minutes 26 seconds after the first listing was ended.
It's 2nd and current lead bid came in 42 seconds later at 8:42:41 PM.
First listing (Now Ended),
Irwin Pedersen M1 Carbine C&R OK WWII : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com
Second Listing (Current),
Irwin Pedersen M1 Carbine C&R OK WWII : Semi-auto at GunBroker.com
Second Listings Bid History,
12/11/2009 8:42:41 PM EST
12/11/2009 8:41:59 PM EST
I was informed by a member here who watched one of these same bidders bid something like $5300 on this one the last time it sold.
I'm not quite sure whats up with this auction, but sure don't get that warm fuzzy feeling about it.

Once the reserve is met the "buy it now" is no longer in effect. Then the bidding can go anywhere!

Oh didn't know that. But if you sell with no reserve and a buy it now, the buy it now never goes away?

It's even worse on Epay. The Buy-It-Now disappears after the very first bid.
