    A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered.  Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle.     That would be a looong drive for me. Well, not as long as it would be for you.....
    "muzzle load black powder with bayonet (old) WWI or older". That could be almost anything, an Enfield, US musket, Brown Bess.....
    That is a really late Savage.

    I wonder if either the 1897 or model 12 are trench guns? Seems the guy who's selling was into milsurps, so who knows?

    A 12L Longbranch should be a Mk1* IMHO. I wonder if it's really a MkIII or a mkIII*? Probably the latter.

    Wouldn't those Winchester serials be too high for trench guns? 12L should be a Mk.I*. The Savage definitely would be, I assume that whoever wrote the ad just doesn't know the difference.

    possibly too high for ww1 trench guns, but both models were used and purchased up till Vietnam. I'm not a trench gun expert, so I can't quote you which serial ranges are appropriate, however
