Overhaul and refurbish of an L1A1
Complete overhaul and refurbish of an L1A1 C.A.I. import.
Barrel removed and re-indexed, Bolt locking shoulder replaced and head space set. Flash suppressor bored and sleeved as US A.W.B. 94 to 04 was in place during overhaul. Bayo lug replaced with a blank block. All metal refinished. Trigger job. Restore function of last round hold open. All springs replaced. New furniture fitted and finished, butt stock glass bedded at receiver contact.

An exellent example of what was my service rifle for the first fifteen years of my career. A few minor differences of course. Our wood didn't look any where as nice as yours either. They sure did carry nicely too.

I finally got everything caught up and had time Saturday to get some photos of some of these recoveries I have done and not sold off. Some of them I did several years ago. I did not make a post of the M1A
set up as a XM-21 I just add some photos of it to my gallery. Thanks for the kind words.

It is soooooo looooong I have to really watch the muzzle when I use it or I will hit everything I get close to. I once got hung up on a low limb and hurt my back. Learned to let the sing all the way out so the muzzle was lower.

Your right Lou, she was so ugly I had to put her is a rack by herself as nun of my customers wanted their guns anywhere near it. The stock that was on it I gave to the kids down the road to play with. She shoots as good as she looks now too. At the time it never crossed my mind to take before pictures of the Enfields, L1A1, Carbines, or Garands. I need to put a big sign in the shop,,,,, TAKE A PHOTO DUMMY.
