    s&b 308 mil brass

    i can not d prime the cases i bent the pin in the tool.is the 3 point crimp on the case the trouble or is there a smaller flash hole in the case that will not let the pin thru

    Or it is berdan primed case. Take a good torch look in the cases if there will be to primer holes. If so forget about reloading , you need special tools for decapping and it is in my opinion not worth the efforts it makes.

    Yep look for Berdan primed. Also note that cheap brass often has way off center flash holes, and they will play hell with a decapping pin.

    looking into the brass it is a standard pocket just can not push out the primer

    the "standard" central flash hole as found on American made ammo, the crimp is the problem. I have had primer punches bend 180* or break off when attempting to de-prime USGI brass from the 40's or later.

    S&B ammo is made in Europe. It may have Berdan primers as gunner stated.

    FYI, his reference to a "torch" can be translated to "flashlight" in American speak.
