    Swede M96 bolt: straight or bent?

    Does anyone know if a M96 Swedishicon Mauser circa 1916 swould have a straight or bent bolt? Thanks

    Check the sniper variations in the Sweden - Milsurp Knowledge Library

    It should have a straight bolt, unless modified for sniper use.

    The M38 carbine was manufactured with a bent bolt as well …

    Should be straight unless converted. Does the bolt match the receiver, etc? If not it could be just a mismatched m96.
