“Rare experimental Sears 1943 early pattern Model M3 shoulder holster”. Sears only made a few of these holsters in early 1943.
Markings show;

This was the standard issue WW2 ÙS shoulder holster Model M3 for the M1911A1 pistol.

The M1911A1 pistol shown below was manufactured by Colt in 1942.

The M1A1 carbine shown below is 12/42 barrel dated.
The MG42 is dated 1943 and the MG34 is 1939 dated.

The dog is wearing a 1944 dated P.38 hard shell holster...which are also somewhat rare.
But he was always a bit fussy about what he was wearing.

No she wasn't. They were generaly very well taken care of considering where they were used. I have a 'WB' in my collection that could be her brother.... also a rare '42 'GHD' which there were very few of in that particular year.
