    Opinions on BDL LTD.

I haven't been on this forum much yet and I just noticed the link to BDLicon. They are only an hour or less from where I live. I only own one Enfield and might be in the market for another. What are your opinions on there prices and service? Thanks, Mike

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Go to bed NOW and get a good nights sleep and leave at first light, we all should be so lucky as to live only an hour away from BDLicon LTD.

Eat breakfast, have some coffee then smoke your tires getting to see Brian at BDL LTD.

You got to trust me on this I'm a happy customer

Brian is straight goods. Over the years I have bought rifles and various bits from him and have found him to be knowledgeable, accurate in his descriptions and a gentleman to deal with. The high point of the Knob Creek show is swapping lies with him and his lovely wife.

If you want odd Britishicon manuals--he has some stunning reproductions on his web site. Fortunately for me, they keep track of what I have bought so that I don't get duplicates at Knob Creek.

Errr...with reviews like this, I want to sell my spare kidney (and parts of my liver) and buy lots of goodies from the good Mr. Dick.

Post pictures of what you buy so I can be envious

I bought two Lee Enfields from Brian a few months back. Great guy to deal with. He put up with a thousand questions and was extremely helpful. And he didn't charge anything extra for the export paperwork. I'll definitely be dealing with him again.

Does all that answer your question Mike D?

In Englandicon, we have a saying. 'It's like shopping at Marks and Spencer - you get just what you pay for'. BDLicon IS Marks and Spencer
