    Star BM

My Star BM has been spreading brass all over the creation. For the last few days I have been trying to replace the recoil spring with a stronger one, without any success. Have been unable to dislodge the old spring. Your help, please? Thanks beforehand.

Goto Gunboard's Forums - Powered by vBulletin then goto "spanish pistol board" look for a member called STAR , he is a member of the site from Spain and has bought up all the available Star and Astra parts when the companies went out of business (no frames, barrels or slides but nearly everything else) you may have to get a complete spring assembly. PM STAR for parts and prices. But maybe it is your extractor or a loose ejector that is causing your brass to be flung all over the place. A weak recoil spring would probably throw them all in the same place but not the same place as one not so weak or as a strong one. You could also ask this same question on the Spanish pistol forum of Gunboards it is their interest and what they seem to have knowledge in.
