'03A3 Rear Sight Problem
The windage knob on the SC '03A3 I just acquired won't turn. The sight is just about centered in the base. I can see that the screw that the knob turns is bent which, I imagine, is the reason it won't turn.
I've been looking without success for a schematic or instructions on taking the sight apart so I can replace the screw. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Mike

Been a while...
but here goes. There is a screw ( may be a pin , but I recall a screw) going in the edge of the knob. Loosen it , don't lose it. Knob should pull off , followed by stampped steel spring plate ( don't lose) . Windage screw can then be unthreaded through other side from the sight block. Under the sight block is a spring and plunger ( ball ? ) that is VERY small , don't lose them. Replace in reverse order.

The 03-A3 sight sits on a very long pinion. If this pinion is bent the sight will not run properly. Badger sent you a very good site. Good luck.

Gentlemen,
Thank you very much for your help. The sight is now apart and the screw is quite bent. The set screw in the knob was hidden in cosmoline or I might have been able to figure it out on my own.
Chuck, I'm emailing you.
