    I.P / S'G' stock markings.

There has been some discussion on this subject, on more than one forum, over recent weeks. Here's a correct 65 year old I.P in a box. I post it to help those who want to know. I get very suspicious of a stock where the wood grain has not overgrown the original marking. You can tell the markings that were made yesterday. I won't post a pic of the slingwell as that would help the humpers. Cheers, Mike. N.Z

Thanks Curt. I've heard about that guy George ! Thankfully he's about 10,000 miles away from me. What do you think of this pic ? Cheers. Mike.

I like it! I have a 1.77 in my collection with the boxed S'G'. I have never even seen a IP boxed cartouche for in person.

O.K Frank. Not teasing, just don't want to post detailed pics as it helps the dishonest people. Mike.
