    Value of an Schmidt-Rubin G11

    Hi Guys,

I want to sell my Schmidt-Rubin Gewehr G11 it is made in 1917. The bore is shiny, the wood is in good condition for the age of the rifle, all numbers are matching and it shoots like hell with the original ammo. What do you think about its value? Thanks to all for the efforts.

    Regards

    Gunner

It's sure challenging to try and figure that you when you're in Germanyicon, but if you were selling it here in Canadaicon, probably between$350 - $550 (Cdn).

    Hi Doug,

thanks for the reply. Some of the milsurps are similar in pricing and the price range that you told me is already in our range. Sad that i couldnt sell it to Canadaicon or the States. Over here they changed the gun law and a lot of the older shooters sold their rifles for the reason that a new safe is much more expensive than the rifles value. Now we had an full market with low prices and a lot of our shooters made good deals. The problem is that you have to look for an guy that want buy a rifle to an fair price and the Swissicon rifles are not the most wanted like the Swedes or Springfields or the extrem high priced Garands ( you have to pay around 900 Euros for an not to bad one).

    Thanks again

    Regards

    Ulrich
