    MKI Airborne Tripod

Does anyone know where I can find the plans for a MKI airborne tripod? I would like to try to make one of them.

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. There wasn't a Mk1 airborne tripod. I think that the airborne tripod was called the Mk2/1. It
ll be difficult (?) to convert a standard one because the legs folded and the sector hinged etc etc. It was foldable so that it'd fit into the air drop container.

Yes, I think it'll be a difficult task to copy....... Anyone got a photo of one?

    Here's a pic of my 44 dated MK2/1 folded.

They were first made when the War Office put in an urgent order to BSA for 50 folding tripods to fit in containers on D Day plus1 that were needed within a week.57 were finished and delivered by June 12th.
