Could some kind Brother in Arms tell me if serial number 589352 Springfield Arsenal, shows as an N.R.A. SALES rifle? Thanks in Advance JFL

Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Sorry, It does not show in any of the five SRS books, serial number is close to my NRA sale rifle. What is the barrel date and does it have the NRA stamping?

TOM: Barrel date covered with Lyman sight! Does have triggerguard stamp,BUT COULD JUST BE A TRIGGERGUARD CHANGE! "For he today that shares his SRS with me Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile"
