    Garand gas plug

I was thinking about making my own adjustable gas plug by drilling and tapping the factory plug, and putting in a smaller screw with a tiny hole drilled in it.Could make a few with different size holes to tune it.Is this even feasible,or should I just stop being cheap and buy a commercial made gas plug?

If you like to tinker go ahead but it seems a lot easier just to buy one- they're not that expensive. Around $35.00.

I think I could make one in an hour or less, better than waiting for UPS.I live in a very small town, nothing like that in any stores here.
