A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I could use the scope mount since my eyes are getting too poor for open sights, don't have any idea what its worth though.

Don't know about the 96 rifle sight but there's a 96 carbine sight in Joe Salter's website for $695. Shocking!!

Numrich (e-gunparts.com) lists the rear sight at US$135 !

I was thinking not so much, but I haven't needed one in a while. I think the last one I bought in Allentown was a whole $35...
