Just got home from the range in the desert canyon. I loaded some 6.5/55 sweed, and several diferent bullets type and weight. Powder was ReloaDER 19, at 44 grains wt., and the first two groups were 2 inches. the third a 3/4 inch group, and then the gun just kept shooting the 1 inch groups with the magic Hornady 120 grain Amax bullet. Wow, what a day. I love this 1912 year Sweede mauser. I was so happy I turned on the irrigation and started up the hay irrigation system. Hey Gunner Man: you are right.

hey gunner: Today, I got the Leupold scope-2-8 power, pistol scope for long eye relief, and put it on the mounts, and went shooting. the load that worked the best today, six shots in an inch grouping, was the 120 nosler with 45 grains of H4350. Very tight grouping at 100 yds from the bench with the switching winds from left to right quartering . I love this gun. I see why the sweeds are liked by most guys.

Duggaboy, i´m happy to hear that you´re really in love with your Swede. The ammo seems to be perfect for your rifle. Sad that we cant go together to the range. Have fun and enjoy shooting your Swede!

    Regards
