Go to Numrich & look under 26B they have the following swivels.

    26B, 26C

    Swivel Pair

    Product No. 277890A
    $16.00

They are the kind you want. You will have to go to the hardware to find oval head screws

Thanks for the info guys. Also, in regards to the sling, does anyone know what was originally on these? I bought a thin canvas sling for it that was advertised as "an original Mossberg 44US sling" but I'm thinking I got hornswoggled on that one. It still has the sling swivels on it but they are the detachable kind which leads me to believe that it was not ever used by the government. And further more I can't imagine the government spending the money to produce a special sling for a training rifle when there were plenty of good slings in production already. The sling I have is kahki and I have also seen one that is OD green. Mine is definitely old but doubtfully military. No markings on it either. So what is correct???

A Lyman 57MS to be exact! I ordered one from CMPicon and got SN212! It was missing sights, triggerguard and the stock was just terrible......so I refinished it. The last pic is a 5 shot 50 yard group. Regards, Rick.

Nice. I managed to track down the S-100 sights for mine as they are correct for the year. The other indicator was that the bracket was still on the rifle and it said "Mossberg S-100 Micro Click sights" or something to that effect. Luckily my stock cleaned up beautifully. I'll try to get some pics up as well.

Interesting thread, I didn't realize CMPicon had any of these left. I bought my Model 44US rifles about 10 years ago from the CMP when they were selling them in just about like new condition. I bought three and all were 100% complete without a scratch on them, seems they were $69.00 plus shipping back then.

I believe I read that the same sling used on the M1icon Rifle was used on these, and they work just fine on mine.
