    DP P14 request

im helping a barrel maker with a reprodution P14 barrel, they need the last 5 inches of the barrel with a front sight, so that they can copy the dems.
a DP barrel would be great, just cut the end off and send it to me....
this will speed up the production...thanks...

I have a take off barrel and the dimensions seem like they are the same as those on a 1917 barrel when held side by side. My cheap calipers took a dump while i was starting to measure.

Here is a quick comparrison of a p-14 barrel to a 10-17 eddy, HS and JA barrels that I have.

    p-14 eddy HS JA
    at muzzle .595 .600 .596 .601
    at front of slot .599 .601 .600 .603
    at rear of slot .608 .612 .610 .613
    at 4" .636 .644 .651 .648

I have a p-14 bayonet that fits the five '17s in my group just fine.If it would help I could send you the barrel.

try this....try and install a P14 front sight onto a 1917 barrel...and then try a 1917 onto a P14....see what you get....for some reason they wont swap one way..cant remember what off the top of my head,,,and like a bone head, i used that last scrap 14 barrel i had to make a shifter for my pickup....looks cool, but ruined the OD..for a shift knob.
