    PSL Range Report

I finally made it to the range today between the rain and thunderstorms. I took my recently traded for Romanian PSL and 50 rounds of Polish 147 grain copper washed cased steel core ammo. The 100 yard range was too muddy so I went to the Black Powder Range, 65 yards from the shooting tables inside the shed to the target stand. It took me 1 magazine to figure out adjusting the scope - turned the dial the wrong way and went too far left, then back to right, then centered. I hung another targer, loaded 10 rounds in the magazine, and fired 1 round...where did it go; I couldn't see it so I deliberately aimed low and the round went where I had aimed. As you can see I had two rounds off the 4" black bullseye but the rest will do. Next time out I will go shoot at the 100 and 200 yard lines. Felt recoil was not bad; although I did find I flinched once or twice. So far I am pleased with my trade...

I've owned two, the first had a 3 degree difference between the blot face and the barrel, it was nothing short of a piece of $#!^. I sold it dirt cheap for parts. I always loved the look and feel so when I saw another one that had Made in Romania on it, I figured I'd try one more time. With my son in the driver seat it shoots 1.5 M.O.A. w/Zero hicups. It is very comfortable to shoot and shoot it does. I'm going to put on an 8X scope on it and save the original scope with the gun, but, I could use a little more eyeball down range on this gun, its an age thing-SDH

CWO......I've had the same experience with my Romanian PSL as you have. Good.

Here's my 13 year old nephew firing it for the first time. In fact up until that point he had only been shooting 22LR.

After shooting the Romanian PSL and ringing the gongs @ 200 yards he told his Grampa, "I don't want to shoot the 22 anymore, it's kinda lame.
