    Return a T26 to normal

    Hello,

I have a T26 Tanker, sn 65xxx that actually shoots fine but would like to see what it would take to return it to its original configuration.

I believe I will need a barrel, forward handguard, op rod, spring...is there anything else?

My model does not have the shortened forward handguard, just the stock and what appears to be a standard rear handguard.

Thanks for any help on this!

    Jeff

Depending on what was done, you may need a follower rod also.

and possibly a lower band & pin. Some "Tankers" I have seen had a new, cast lower band that is rounded on top, so the missing front handguard isn't so obvious/ugly. If you have one of those, you can't use it with a front handguard.
