Unidentified ALICE pack, possibly from New Zealand?

    Hey all,

About 15 or so years ago I picked up an ALICE pack at a gun show in Pennsylvania. I needed a pack and it was a good price. The guy I bought it from said it was Australianicon but I think that's flat wrong. The frame, kidney belt and shoulder straps are US made & marked. The bag itself is not marked and is DPM camo. AFAIK, the Aussies never used DPM, and the Brits never used the US ALICE pack, so what the heck is this thing? IIRC, the Kiwis used some US gear so I was wondering if maybe this was something of theirs?

    Cheers!

It looks commercial manufactured, but I'm not an expert on ALICE gear.

Unfortunately thats a commercial manufactured Alice pack. Seen quite a few here in OZ in the last few years. ALL NZicon gear has braod arrows and NZ markings on the inside of the top flap in black inks

    Longshaor,

I kind of figured it for a commercial design too, but anything was possible.
It looks like it's a good usable size and I like the design/size of the separate outside pouches.

Can you post a photo of the 'Alice' fasteners on this pack?
It's not often strictly commercial gear will have proper Alice fasteners.

    Thanks,
    ~ Harlan

Over here the Sturm Company offers them in different camo´s. So maybe it is an commercial one.

Looks like a typical NZicon Army issued ALICE Pack

Camo patterns looks Britishicon to me but that's all I can say.
