    m12 trench gun/marking

    Model 12 trench gun

    I am going to purchase a M12 .U.S. marked ,20" barrel. Owner says bayo /heat shield is after market /repro. I have seen the gun and looks great but the us looks to large.What is the height of the U.S.iconstamp.. Guns sn is in the 933600 range made in 41 or so the barrel is marked. Gun is in excellent cond and the price is low. ..Thanks for any info..Pat
