A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. Looks like it has the same range as the 5.56 rounds they are using now...

I've been wanting to mount a camera system like that onto a rifle for years. Just never got around to it...

Interesting feed mechanism- "bullet" travels straight fwd. then pops up into the "bore".

So what part is Lee or Enfield derived?

Some Lee features in the design that makes it at least vaguely relavent:

Bolt rifle w/ a detachable box mag- Lee was the first to incorporate this feature!

Turnbolt rear locker- a stretch, but...the bolt "head" doesn't appear to rotate either.

Anybody else?
