    colt 6940

    got one new and was told only six in canada. anyone out there in gun land know how many made it in? picked up a 6920 new as a shooter and i've been saving the cherry. but if there's a crap load out there all start to shot the living s#%t out of her. thanks for any help. cheers jeep

    No help from me as to current scarcity, sorry, but I had one for a while, and it was a VERY nice weapon. A little heavier then my usual carbines (Including a 6920 that's wearing a TA31RCOM4 ACOG), but it has lots of potential. Sold it to a friend for LE training, so I could buy some old something...

    Are you thinking there's no prospects of more being imported? I'd HAVE to shoot it...ain't pretty enough for a safe queen.

    If I get another, I hope a barrel removal tool is available, as I think I'd swap the folding front sighted M4 contoured bbl. for a precision LW sightless (minimal gas block instead) bbl.

    Yes? I haven't checked lately, but last I heard they were just rumors. No matter, don't need one right this minute anyway.
