    Bob....

    Reference your PM....

The PM environment doesn't permit file attachments, so I thought I'd put them here.

Here's my FireFox 3.6.6 settings for fonts and sizing...

Perhaps Ramboueille and you can try these and let me know if they work for you, because they were the defaults as delivered with FF 3.6.6, plus I don't see clipping using them.

I'm curious as to whether this solves your problem and I do think what you outlined in your PM is narrowing the gap as to why this is only happening on certain machines.

    Regards,
    Doug

It's interesting that the previous version of vBull didn't and doesn't do this. I'm still visiting several sites with older revisions of vBull and am able to use the minimum font size to my advantage. Sure wish they'd change whatever routine that has made their display picky.

    Bob,

Same here, even on other vBulletin V4 unrelated sites. Font adjustments made just for here. Vbulletin support is quick to say it's not from their end but it is. Nothing I can't live with and overall, it's nice and crisp on Milsurps.

The first time I logged-on to the new site I just about went NUTS, which some say is not a very far trip for me. Yes I am old and like most really hate change but after a few times have not had any problems and now am able to navigate quite easily. I think I like the new site better it just takes time to accept the change. I have a Panasonic Toughbook (no I don't sell computers) using IE8 and XP which seem to work well. One thing is I have had MAJOR problems with my search engine even on this site over the last month or so and spent 6 hours with a computer genius and he found my AntiVirus was not stopping Trojans and one had taken over my search engine. The strangest thing is I don't go to "strange/risky" sites so the person(s) who are attaching Trojans are now putting them on legit sites. I have a new AntiVirus (one I must pay for) and now this site is perfect with no problems at all. I do like the new color and Doug you and your wife have done a great job on this.
Why use a 50 pound bomb when a 500 pound bomb will do?

    Thanks partner, appreciate that ...

We don't often get feedback about what we do right, only what's wrong ...

I highly recommend Zonealarm - by far the best protection you can get

Zonealarm - firewall, antivirus, and spyware protection
