    nepal guns

    Hi
    has anybody from the UKicon purchased any Nepal guns from IMA/Atlanta cutlery. Im interested in a gahendra or a brunswick, if I have any trouble it will be hard to sort out. So any advice will help.

    Ask your question on the martini board. You will reach more people. From reading other posts on other sites, it is not a problem as they regularly ship to the uk.

    Big price differential between those two. Be aware that you are far more likely got get it shooting if you get the Brunswick. Some Gahendras aren't going to be shooters as the parts were all hand made and generally don't interchange and some of the barrels were damascus and could be undersized and may not fire normal 577/450. The Brunswick is a muzzle loader and pretty easy to get firing if you get a decent example

    The second picture shows the stuck cleaning rod. I managed to remove it with a hammer and a brass rod. This is uncleaned.

    Ordered a Grahendra Friday from AC. Came today. Am quite pleaed as it's all there inc rod and sling. Everythng works. Small chip in butt, sling broken near top end, butt plate shipped loose. All surfaces look good, bore unknown. Will peek inside and clean up good I think.

    Hope I do as well- ordered mine Sunday -ran about $220 delivered- will post photos as well when it arrives. Any ideas about how many of these are left? Noticed their stock of cap n ball rifles is on a short list and lots more money.
