    385 meter off-hand match

Here's a short vid of one leg of our 385-500 meter off-hand carbine match. We hold matches like this once a month for competition. With the new 1,000 yard range finished we may have an off-hand match at a man sized target.
Every Sunday we practice at 500 meters. Many of the shooters in my club have gotten very good with just about all of the milsurps rifles being sold today. No one is allowed to use scopes in the open sight match.
We have a scope class but seldom is anyone using a scoped rifle. They have too much fun using the open sights. My youngest shooter just turned 17, the oldest is 76. Everyone does very well.
Here's the vid of the Carbine match. Ron is shooting the M4 clone, 1:9 twist barrel using the 55 grain FMJ bullet. He has already hit two other targets when the filming started.http://s31.photobucket.com/albums/c3...t=DSCF8323.mp4
