Upside Down Ordinance Wheel w/ WRA GHD Cartouche?

I have a Winchester Garandicon, 2.4 m series s/n. It has a stock with a WRA GHD cartouche, which is visible but not very deeply struck. To the right of it is the crossed cannons , but they are struck upside down! Did this happen, would it still be real, or do you think this is the work of a humper? The stock is a dark walnut color (not lighter walnut).

Not unheard of on both WRA and SA rifles. I have seen cartouches and ordnance wheels upside down and sideways. I have also seen the ordnance wheel stamped to the left of the cartouche. If you are wondering if it is a fake, just post a pic here and get some opinions. Actually, the fakers are probably more careful to get them right side up than were the workers at the armory.

The upside down crossed cannon acceptance mark was very common on the early Remington Rand 1911A1 pistols. It was almost if the guy applying the first ones thought they went that way.
