    My latest

    I found this in the local Auto Parts/Sporting Goods store

    It is a 175xxx 1917 vintage that looks all original to me (but what do I know) The story is that granfather brought it back from WW 1 and it has been in the family since then;

    A 1917 holster can with it

    I am not really interested in the holster, but since it looks like they have been together for a while I guess I should keep it that way.

    Did I do OK?

    Appears to be an above average, clean, straight, correct example of a 1917 M1911........
