You never know what you might find on these things! Didnt notice the overstamp on the flipper until i took a pic of it.
Nothing spectacular- but its kind of neat

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. I believe the flip sight to be an original USGI sight, but it is not original to the NPM it currently resides on.

National Postal meter received 3000 leafs from Roc-Ola on 8-13-43. The N-A I would think was stamped on it to show who used it when it was installed so it just very well may be original to the receiver.

The reciever is a 4.2 NPM that I picked out at Camp Perry. It was the typical mixmaster/rebuild. However it showed no adj sight staking, although it did have a T3 sight. No band shadow either. I ended up having all the parts to make it correct from some other CMP icon

guns. Then i found this flip sight to make it look even better. The carbine wouldnt fool any savy collector, but it looks pretty good for the little bit of $$ i have invested in it.
