I believe the flip sight to be an original USGI sight, but it is not original to the NPM it currently resides on.

National Postal meter received 3000 leafs from Roc-Ola on 8-13-43. The N-A I would think was stamped on it to show who used it when it was installed so it just very well may be original to the receiver.

The reciever is a 4.2 NPM that I picked out at Camp Perry. It was the typical mixmaster/rebuild. However it showed no adj sight staking, although it did have a T3 sight. No band shadow either. I ended up having all the parts to make it correct from some other CMPicon guns. Then i found this flip sight to make it look even better. The carbine wouldnt fool any savy collector, but it looks pretty good for the little bit of $$ i have invested in it.
