    Announcement Moderator warning

To all, please refrain from posting news of the Fox story on Korean guns. This is old news and has only sparked heated political posts. I have deleted a number of these so lets keep the discussion all about carbines and not delve into the political arena. Thanks

Did you finish watching that 70 year old "Fighting Marines" adventure serial Charlie and discover who the "bad guy" was when unmasked?

    Regards,
    Doug

Me too ... I think it's an age thing ...

I remember as a kid in the mid 1950's watching these things on a black and white TV every Saturday morning.

They're so dated and unsophisticated by the standards of what the kids watch nowadays, but they do have a nostalgic charm.

I'll have to see if I can fins us some more of them ..

    Regards,
    Doug

    Doug,
When watching the Natives in the jungle scenes on the island, Am I the only one expecting Larry, Moe or Curly to pop out of the brush?
Or Godzilla coming over the mountain top when raising the 'Anti Gravity Gun'
Did you see the plane take off from the roof top as the 'Catapult Release' was employed?
Will be watching chapter 8 soon.
    Who said Marines aren't tough?
All those fight scenes and not a black eye yet !!

    Thx Again,
    Charlie-painter777

In fact, I think it's the same prop bushes they used in the 3 Stooges stuff ...

Besides a ton of these old 1930's and 1940's serials, I also found a bunch of the Bowery Boys (Dead End Kids) stuff. Remember Sach and the boys?

We should add an "Old Movies" forum for us old guys ..

    Regards,
    Doug

    Old Classics..

Do you remember when Ronald Reagan was on?
Sach (Huntzs Hall) will always rank right up there as one of the best side kicks.
Reminds me of another scene stealer.... WWII veteran Art Carney, from the Jackie Gleason show.
    All were class acts.

Thx for the short trip down memory lane......
