    New Martini and Remington

    Won a Martini and a Remington 511 at an on-line estate sale today.




    Description advised:
    Serial no. P73612, .22 LR cal., 30" medium-weight barrel, blue finish, smooth cheekpiece walnut stock, with Parker-Hale sight.

    Condition:
    Fine as refinished. Retaining approx. 97% thinning and toning blue with some scratches. Custom-made stock for target use. Fore-end with additional holes for sling swivel placement. Action is crisp, bore is bright. Trigger is finely tuned.


    Sorry for the pics--they are from the auction site. I'll post a range report and better pics when I actually get it.

    Small frame Martini actioned target rifle. Should go on for ever. I'm certainly not an expert, my guess is that it'll be a BSA rifle. Can't see the Remmy?

    Condition:
    Good to very good. Retaining approx. 90% thinning and toning blue. Stock with thinning to finish, light scuffs and scratches. Action is crisp, bore is excellent.
