    1957 Norma Ammo

I've had a case of Norma carbine ammo for some years, and decided to use some on my last range trip. It all fired (50) and seemed to be the same power as the PMC I compared it to. I can't speak to accuracy because I was really scuffling that session trying to get lined up on the target, while the rear sight had come loose without my noticing it ('Lost My Mind At The Range'). Next time I'll try it again after finishing the sight-in with the PMC. It's really beautiful ammo and looks like it was made yesterday.

Norma ammo is first rate. I had a 10mm Glock as a duty weapon, and used some Norma 170 ammo I had a duty loads. I called it my 17 shot 41 magnum! It was superb ammo loaded the way a 10mm was meant to be loaded!!!!! Not like a lot of the .40 S&W in 10mm cclothing you find now.

Have you ever seen any other carbine ammo that was lacquer sealed at the case mouth and primer? I guess that's why its still good. It was over 30 years old when I got it, and I have no idea how it was stored prior to that. Since then, it has been climate-controlled/pampered with desiccant.
