IVI 68/69 head stamp 7.62X51 brass.

I just scored 45 lbs of this brass. I was sized twenty years ago and left to rot with the lube still on it. What a mess the lube dried out but protected the brass well. Just started the first 100 cases but I think I will hit the machine shops in town and find someone who can wash it all in one load in a solvent tank.

Put fresh media in your tumbler and add a couple of capfuls of mineral spirits to the new media and let 'er rip. They should come nice and clean. And the new media! Put it in a butter bowl and save it. If you leave the lid off a couple of days all the mineral spirits will evaporate and you are back to fresh media or leave the lid on and it works great if you hand load tumble lubed cast bullets.

Half the flash holes are off center on this stuff. IVI must have served wine in the lunch room.
