WTK: Phrobis Intl. marked M9 ??

I am trying to get an idea of what a Phrobis International/Spain marked M9 might be worth or at least a ballpark price range for one ??
This one is mint condition and has the double markings on each side with one side having:
    M9/Phrobis Intl/spain
and the other side having : USAicon. /Patent #
Any help would be much appreciated !

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. These are not military issue, and were made for the European market. I'm assuming it has the correct scabbard. Most interest is in the military issued M9s, particularly the early versions. You can get a nice military issued M9 for around $130 for the later versions, $150 or so for earlier version. Haven't seen too much interest in the Spain marked ones, so I'd say anywhere from $70 to $100. On a good day maybe a little more.

The M9 bayonets manufactured for the European market were only marked with the Marto name. They did not have the Phrobis marking on them. The Spain marked Phrobis bayonets were made after the Phrobis / Buck split in 1989-1990. They were strictly commercial but US, not Europe.

Check out Quarterbore's Forums for more information on M9 bayonets.

These are worth a little more than the 100 mentioned, if only because they are not very common, but only to those who want to collect all the variations and not just the issue ones. I paid more than 100 for mine recently as it was near mint and only the second i have ever seen for sale, and the other went for a good 100 more than i paid. I am sure Bill sees more at the fairs which i dont get too but these are not that common. I now have both with and without spain, the without being one of the "collectable" ones for the first Gulf war. Now I need a Marto marked one as well

I stand corrected on the European version. Here is the web page on the M9 bayonets:
    http://www.m9bayonet.com/
My prices were based on a two month period in early 2010 when I was looking to add an M9 to my collection. I saw several Phrobis Int'l marked M9s priced over $100 (between $125-175) that didn't sell at those prices. As in all things, timing and opportunity can make a big difference.
