    1917 for $195

Just bought a sporterized eddystone at a pawn and gun shop. I have bought 4 other guns there so they reduced the price to $195. Both sights have been changed to Williams adjustable open sights. Rifling looks good, no rust in the barrel. Action is slick. It has the usual problem of broken ejector spring. Just ordered one from Numrich. Has the barrel been cut down? It is only 20 1/4 from the muzzle to the receiver. It is Nov 1917. Metal looks parkerized. Wood has been nicely refinished and sight install looks professional. Waiting on the ejector to shoot it. It is probably not worth much more than $195 but hopefully will be a shooter.
