    Interesting gunshow 7.62 NATO find.

I picked a few boxes of this up on the weekend. The date is 1958.

I have a little of that. And some drill rounds dated 60. It came from shooters who didn't use it all. Some was in the old plastic bandoleers too.

Hang onto the brass. You will find that it is VERY consistent.

I was hoarding the old Dominion Arsenals 7.62 brass for my own FAL, but that seems to be a thing of the past. It is the only rifle I have in that calibre.... and it is now illegal to take out of the house. I can't help but wonder why the Government bothered to train me with one if they won't let me use it.

The EX-2 marking sets this apart from the run-of-the-mill issue ammo. Rather collectible.

    Congratulations on the capture!
