    Just picked up a nice vet bring-back ac41 P38 :)

Sadly, due to it being in Canadaicon, no capture papers, but one of my good friends owns a gun shop and it was walked in as an estate item. Of course, it never made it into the display cabinet

I've had a good many P38's and it's uncommon to find one with a matching magazine - most mags were never stamped after 1941 or so from what I've seen.

This one had about 70-75% original finish remaining - most lost finish is on the front grip strap. Bore about an 8 out of 10 - sharp and crisp with a few minor spots of very light pitting. Very shootable and under a quick glance it looks pristine.

Lots of pics - hope you all enjoy

Nice gun. Very similar to one I aquired from my father in-law. Mine was a vet bring home as well. Father in-law knew the vet and apparently he got it from a Germanicon officer in Holland. I have been checking around on the internet trying to find a value for mine. It is a Mauser made byf43. All matching serial numbers and in very good condition. Do you or anyone else know its value?
    Thanks

Notice your ac41 is in the j letter suffix block. The P.38 used the j as a letter suffix, but the P.08 did not as their letter suffix was cursive and the j looked too much like the i .
