    Wtb m1 carbine

Must be all USGI, flat bolt, sling and oiler. No safe queens or wall hangers. I don't mind character in the stock, but no cracks, repairs, deep cuts or missing pieces. No arsenal reworks. No imports. I want it from GI Joes hands to mine. Overall, I'd be happy with 80%. I have a # in mind, but will entertain all rifles.

Shouldn't be too hard to find what you are looking for. Market is flooded, with prices beginning to soften.

Doubt there is such a thing. I'd bet that 99.9% of all carbines have been thru at least one arsenal or field QM/supply room rebuild..whether its marked on the current stock or not. Many of the original stocks have been replaced at one time or another..marked or unmarked. Many carbines were loaned to foreign govt's who did their own messing with them, swaping parts, stocks, etc. Some of these came back to CMPicon who did their own swapping of parts for various reasons, but if you'd like a nice "currently made correct" carbine by me or many others, then you may well find one. This making correct process runs the cost up somewhat, depending on how much trading of parts one has been able to do. Be interesting to know what figure you have in mind....PM if you like and I'll tell you if I have anything in that price range.
