When time allows, look back thru some of their past sales and look at stock, flip sight and barrel band markings.....

Hey Guys, Im a new collector, why do you say this gunbroker seller rips people off? Is it the price or is he faking stuff? I jumped the gun and bid on one of his carbines before I checked around, Id rather pay too much than fall for fake stuff! Thanks!

What jumps out at me? Sam-T-Bob! That's what jumps out at me. Hum, round staked rear sight dove tail, fake rear sight, fake barrel band, fake hammer, fake bolt, fake magazine catch, fake cartouche.... I gotta go to work now!

I like that choice of words. May I use that quote in the future? Unfortunately, it is slowly becoming the rule instead of the exception for most carbine sales...

It must be alot of beginner buyers on gunbroker who don't know any better.... like myself who are buying carbines. Like anything else, it takes time to learn what is what.
