    1922M2 with anti-aircraft sights

Just wanted to post some pictures of my 1922M2 with anti-aircraft sights I picked up at a local show recently. Its kind of interesting and some collectors might not have ever seen one so I would like to share some pictures. I think they only made about 30 of these.

Thanks for posting photos of your rifle. I also have a very similar 1922M2 ( but without the anti-aircraft sight aperture). Very neat !

    Anti aircraft sights

    Hello,
I found one of these years ago. Stock was the original M1icon issue style stock. Barrel date was 1929 corresponding to when these were to have been produced. Action in mine is unaltered 1922 M1. Love the 22 Springfields!

I thought the holes were for a Lyman receiver sight.
