Harrington & Richardson magazines (FAL) and a question ?

These photos show some HRA marked FAL magazines for the T48 rifle which was tested in the 50's. There were some 500 H&R T48 rifles (rifles were marked T-48) manufactured and I believe all used the standard barrel, a small percentage had the parts for full auto. The magazines used were all marked HRA and 20 round.

Also during this time period, High Standard Manufacturing Corp also produced a small number of T48 rifles, also with the standard weight barrel but used a different type of charging handle from the H&R T48. High Standard also produced a lightweight model too. My question, has anyone ever seen a magazine manufactured or marked High Standard ? for the T48 rifleAttachment 16634Attachment 16633Attachment 16635Attachment 16636

    More H&R T48 information

Attachment 16722Attachment 16723Attachment 16724Attachment 16725Here is a photo of a H&R charging or cocking handle (not in the best condition but still a good example) The High Standard T48 used the round knob (like the FN) on their cocking handle.

Also what became of the FN T.48 Rifles after the testing ?

    H&R T48 magazines

I had deleted the photos to get additional space to post other photos and did not think there was much interest in the T48 projectAttachment 19609Attachment 19610
