I own a POF No.4 Mk1, sn B16875. It was given to me 25-30 years ago with no bolt. I mistook the "POF" for "ROF" and it languished in the pile until a couple of years ago. It is definitely a Mk1, and except for the bolt, has all the characteristics. IIRC, 1956 is the year stamped. I put a no-gunsmith-mount on it and a nice old Weaver K7 (?) scope on it. A gunsmith gave me a bolt. The old girl shoots like a dream.
I also own a Mk2 POF.
