A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. $2130 sale price, really amazing price, although the bolt serial is a force match and the wood is also serial matched as an A should be to my mind, almost every hard to find mk6 part is missing and the barrels near worn right out, interesting serial number, its got the A of course, but where's the original serial, built into the new one perhaps, 93A ?
Its an interesting comment on how few and far between any survivors of the original 1025 really are and how much they're valued by enfielders.

Looks like the only No. 1 Mk. VI part left on it is the receiver.
