These comments sections in the MKLicon are not designed for interactive feedback, only comments about the articles. In the case of this type of library item, I think you'll have better luck getting an answer by posting your question in the main forums.

    Regards,

    Good morning,

I have been gifted a Czechicon (BRNO) made 8mm Mauser with a german style bolt handle. Unfortunately, a previous owner sporterized the rifle stock.

I wish to attempt to return it to as near “issued” as possible.

The barrel is 23” from muzzle to chamber and, including the action, 31.5” from muzzle to end of tang.

My question…. will this mechanism fit into a standard (if there is such a thing) K98icon Mauser stock?

Thanks in advance for your attention to this matter.

    Best,

    Rob Lumley
