    Ishapore No4

Have just about finished the 'restoration' of a Ishpore marked No4. According to Skennertonicon's book Ishapore refinished a few No4's taking the original markings off and put there own on. This is dated 1958 serial # No 0022. It was a complete barrels action with matching bolt. It appeared never to have been in a rifle since it was refinished by Ishapore. Sourced a stock and remaining hardware from Brian D. I did not put a Ishapore screw in as I think they are a bit ugly. Will post pics eventually but am too bush shoveling 15 inches of snow. Iteresting addition to my LE collection.

TJ, I have an Indian refurb that is a Mk1*. It has about 4 coats of gloss paint on it (you know the look). One day I'll tear it down and figure out if it's a LB or S. I'm hoping for LB, as it will have a spot in the "odd but Canadianicon" section of the wall.
    Mine is dated 1962.
