No 4 MK I and No 4 MK II Buttstocks Interchangeable?

I'm looking to purchase a buttstock and fit a sniper cheek rest to it as a birthday gift for my brother. Will a buttstock from a No 4 MK I fit his No 4 MK II without any alteration? I have found a nice replacement that has the same wood type and finish but just want to make sure that it will work before purchasing.

    Thanks

Thanks....I knew that the forestock wouldn't because of the way that the trigger was hung, but just couldn't seem to find info on the butt.

    Thanks again!
