A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. THe made in Englandicon is not original! it may be a US customs requirment that required stuff to be marked from where it is from, shame it removes some of the value. No issue bayonet would ever be marked this way.

I've had a look in the Graham Priest book and it looks OK to me.

Hopefully this doesn't mean that the fakers have now corrected all the errors.

Leave it alone, it really doesn't hurt anything. On a common bayonet it may hurt the value to some collectors but on a scarce or rare item it does nothing to hurt the value.
