Who Made The Narrowest Hand Guard?

Thoughts as to who made the narrowest carbine hand guard during WWII ?
I've been sifting thru a crate and have found one maker who seems to fit the bill.
Seems to be both their Type I and Type II guards.
Looking forward to reading your replies and thoughts.

    Regards,
